About This Tour
This full-day Príncipe tour combines the island’s best-known waterfall hike with plantation history, coastal scenery and time in a fishing community.
Walk through the protected rainforest to Oquê Pipi, swim in the cold natural pool below the falls and explore the eastern side of the island with an accredited local guide. The day continues through Roça Abade Litoral and Praia Salgada, with lunch included before returning to Santo António.
What to Expect
Oquê Pipi Waterfall Trail
Walk through Príncipe’s protected rainforest with an accredited local guide, following forest trails to the island’s best-known waterfall.
Swim Below the Falls
Swim in the cold natural pool below the Oquê Pipi falls, shaded by the forest canopy, with time to rest on the rocks before the walk back.
Roça Abade Litoral and Praia Salgada
Explore the eastern side of the island through the old Roça Abade Litoral plantation landscape and continue to Praia Salgada, a quiet coastal beach community.
Lunch
Lunch is included during the day, taken locally with the group and the guide.
Return to Santo António
Return to Santo António after lunch, with drop-off at your accommodation in or around the town.
